Born in 1971, he studied in the Conservatories of Genoa, where he graduated in Organ and Organ Composition and Harpsichord, and in Lecce, where he graduated with full marks and honors in Renaissance Polyphony with Maestro Diego Fratelli.

He deepens the ancient and baroque repertoire on the keyboard with L. Ghielmi, A. Frigé, A. Marcon, R. Gini, J. Christensen, C. Stembridge at the International Academy of Music in Milan and, winner of a scholarship, at the Cini Foundation of Venice.

At the same time he undertook the study of singing with S. Woodbury, C. Cavina, O. Garaventa, W. Matteuzzi, graduating in 2018 in Baroque singing with Maestro Roberto Balconi at the “G. Cantelli ”of Novara.

He participates in the “Chorus” choir conducting courses of the Aerco, Emiliano Romagnola Choirs Association and of the Italian Society for Music Education with M. Tosto, R. Paraninfo, P. Paolo Scattolin, M. Guernieri, M. Napolitano, F. Pecci, L. Buzzavi.

He studies Gregorian chant at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome with prof. Franz Karl Praßl: with the Gregorian Schola of the Institute he participates in concerts in Italy and in a European tour where he performs as a soloist in Sarajevo, Zagreb, Banja Luka, Graz, Budapest.

He carries out an intense activity as a singer, performing in Italy and abroad as a solo tenor and in prestigious ensembles: Micrologus, Il Canto di Orfeo, L’Homme Armé, Odhecaton, Choir of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Accademia del Santo Spirito, Ensemble Magnificat , Ars Cantica Choir & Consort, Academy of Ancient Music of Rovereto, Camerata Vocale Bozen, Musical Chapel of the Cathedral of Vercelli, Canto LX (Luxembourg), Oberwalliser Vokalensemble (Switzerland).

He collaborates with the Choir of Friuli Venezia Giulia, with which in March 2015 he performs the integral of the motets of J. S. Bach under the direction of Ton Koopman.

He sang with the Voxonus choir in Rossini’s Cenerentola, made for Raiuno in 2012 under the direction of Carlo Verdone. Also for Raiuno, he performed the 2017 Christmas Concert from the Upper Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi with the Maghini Choir, the Rai National Symphony Orchestra and the direction of William Eddins.

She sang with “Il Canto di Orfeo” in some works premiered at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan: “Teneke”, by Fabio Vacchi (2007), “Cuore di Cane”, by Alexander Raskatov (2013), revived at the Opéra National of Lyon (2014), and “Die Soldaten”, by Bernd Alois Zimmermann (2015). Within the same ensemble since 2009 he has taken part in the concerts of the Verdi Barocca conducted by Maestro Ruben Jais.

Among other collaborations he includes those with the Quartet and the “Michelangelo” Octet of the Cathedral of S. Maria del Fiore in Florence, where he takes part in the most solemn liturgies and concerts: in November 2015 he sings as a soloist in the presence of His Holiness Pope Francis.

Since 2012 he has been assistant teacher and from 2013 to 2016 he directs the choir of the Mailänder Kantorei, choir of the German-speaking community of Milan. From 2014 to 2017 he directs the Lugano “Cantemus” Choir.

Since 2009 he has been choir master at the S. Stefano Choral Association, in Casella (GE): with the children’s choir of I Piccoli cantori, the Casellese Youth Chorus and the S. Stefano Polyphonic Chorus he performs in concerts where, in addition to his direction was joined by R. Jais, M. Fedrigotti, M. Manganelli. Under the direction of M. Fedrigotti, the Polyphonic Choir, together with the Cantus Januae Choir, held a concert in Milan with The Priests and the Milano Classica chamber orchestra, which met with considerable success with audiences and critics.

He has made recordings for the Stradivarius, Brilliant Classics, Bongiovanni, Arcana, Vatican Radio, Sveriges Radio labels; performances of him were broadcast by Rai – Radiotre, by RTSI – Rete Due and by ORF1, Österreichische Rundfunk. The cd of Missa Papae Marcelli di Palestrina that he made with the Odhecaton ensemble was awarded the “Diapason d’Or”.

He teaches organ at the “Sandro Pertini” high school in Genoa and, together with the masters Enrico Vercesi and father Matteo Ferraldeschi ofm, in liturgical-musical training courses for singers and choir directors organized by the diocese of Tortona.

From October 2019 he joined the vocal ensemble The Blossomed Voice as a tenor.
